Sylvia Borghardt Voice Over: A Voice for your Message
Welcome to my site! I'm a German native voice actor based in Boston, Massachusetts, serving clients worldwide in German and English (with an accent ) languages. Clients choose my voice for it sounds empathetic, authentic and professional. I enjoy working on projects that ask for enthusiasm and positivity, delivery of emotions and concerns, as well as projects that require a factual or educational voice. The age range of my voice is roughly between 25 and 55 years old. Recordings and remote live sessions can be booked at my home studio or in a professional audio studio. Please reach out today!

Voice Training
I have been training my voice in extensive and formal training. My private teachers include Christoph Walter (https://www.sprechbereit.de/) and Sabine von Rosenbaum Lipinsky (http://sabine-von-rosenberg.de/). Sabine taught me the foundation of voice and breathing techniques, Christoph trains me in the various genres, with focus on intonation, emphasis and pace. In the course "Sprechschauspiel für Synchronsprechen" (dubbing class) at the Sprecher-Akademie (sprecher-akademie.com), I got a lot of practice in developing characters for dubbing and audio books. I also completed the course "Audio Mastering für Sprecher*innen" with Georg Luksch (https://home-music.at/), which further enables me to edit and master my recordings.
In addition to continuous vocal training, I work as a "proof listener" (corrections and simple audio edits) for German audio books from time to time; this experience also supports my learning process as a voice actor.
